Sex on wheels

Next Monday is the day! A dream, 6 years in the making, will finally come true!
I put down a deposit on my dream car this past Friday. I’m going down to Allentown to pick it up on Monday the 30th. I’m soooooooooooo psyched! And still kind of worried. I haven’t practiced driving stick as much as I probably should have to be planning a road trip in a brand new stick shift car with that much power. But, I have a week to catch up. I’ll be fine either way; it’s not like I can’t do it, I just wouldn’t want to make some stupid mistake and ruin or damage my brand new transmission in my brand new car. Like try to start in 3rd instead of 1st. That was SO not my fault though, the gears on the beast are so huge and loose it’s hard to tell where you are.
I wish I could practice today, but I have to take the Outback to the dealer after work, and work is halfway between here and the dealer, so it doesn’t make sense to come home to pick up the Outback and go all the way back out there. And tomorrow I have to drive the loaner car they’re giving me so I can take it back when I pick up the Outback. But that is theoretically the last time I’ll ever drive my Outback. Gonna be really sad to see her go. But fucking amazing to get the new one!
I think I get the best car selling morals award for replacing all of my brakes and fixing everything that was broken or malfunctioning before trying to sell the car.
P.S. I guess since this is a public post, I should probably tell my parents about this at some point soon. <chin>

What kind of car did you get?! That’s so exciting!!!
We just paid off my car, it’s an 02 nissan sentra gxe, black. It’s got several paint scratches from moving all over the place and I just had to get the power steering hose replaced because it was leaking. But other than that I haven’t had any problems with it
it just needs to be cleaned right now… it gets pretty messy because I’m such a packrat.
*applauds* good for you for fixing everything before you started trying to sell the old one!! my brother bought an old jeep that had about a billion miles on it and ended up having to get rid of it because the brakes were so shot. Oh, and he totalled it like twice. Everyone expected me to be the bad driver, but all I’ve ever gotten are speeding tickets and I accidentally knocked it out of alignment a few weeks ago because some jackass damn near stopped in the middle of the road while it was raining and wet… < / run on sentence > It was an easy fix and there wasn’t any body damage, but it was still a pain in the ass.
