Well after two whole weeks of not having pictures of Zola, I finally got two from Holly. But they’re almost identical, so I’ll just include one:

Sitting in the airport this morning, waiting for my flight, I realized I was actually happy to be traveling. Normally when I’m flying, I’m just going home for a whirlwind weekend trip, that always involves fights with my parents. Or when I was driving to Tammy’s, sure it was a more enjoyable weekend, but 10+ hours of driving is never fun (well, after the first dozen times). This morning I’m genuinely happy to be traveling. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ll be away for so long that I know it will be relaxing, or for … other reasons, or a combination. Whatever it is, this vacation might actually be a vacation! Not another one of those weekends where I feel like I need another weekend by the time I get home.

Here’s hoping my Santa’s Satchel gets to Birmingham intact. That could certainly ruin the vacation, if it didn’t.
