Song of the day:
Summertime (and the Living is Easy) – Sam Cooke
The originals are always the best. Although feel free to post your favorite cover of this song. Everyone reading this could pick a different cover and we still wouldn’t be able to list them all.
Ecxerpt:
It’s summertime and the living is easy
Fish are jumping and the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich and your mama’s good-looking
Hush, little baby don’t you cry

I love this image. There’s a poster of it hanging at my old High School, and it’s so much fun to read.
But it really pisses me off that everyone calls it an illusion. Even Wikipedia. It’s not an illusion, it’s a left-right brain conflict. There’s nothing illusionary about it.
