Only instead of getting rid of the stupid people, they’re getting rid of every hard-working, patriotic, volunteer soldier that has gone to fight for our country, regardless of their own personal agendas, regardless of their beliefs about the war, simply because America called for them. These soldiers are, arguably, the best citizens we have in this country.

So, I’ve unregistered from Terris. Again.

I honestly don’t remember the last time I logged into Terris, aside from today to “unregisterme”.

I don’t know what changed about it, but it completely stopped being fun. No one’s around any more, no one does anything, and last I knew, there was still no divine presence that actually tried to make a difference. Complete lack of interest right now.

Then there’s WoW. I could WoW from morning till night, sleep for like 3 hours, and get up and WoW again. I remember when Terris was like that, and when I actually did that with Terris. But it’s just not like that any more. Besides, with class, work, and Tammy, I barely even have time to eat, sleep, do homework, and play one game regularly, let alone two. Terris just feels like a waste of time right now.

Then there’s the monetary issue. $17/month for a game I literally never play. That’s just not something I can afford right now. I shouldn’t even be paying for WoW right now, but there’s certainly no sense in paying for both.

Anyway, that’s my current reasoning. For those of you that play Terris and actually care that I’m leaving, don’t worry. I’ll be back. Eventually.

My sister just informed me that she gave away her dog. I knew she was thinking about looking for a new home for Cocoa, but I didn’t know she had decided to do so, and found one.

Before you get judgmental, this was the very best thing for Cocoa, and my sister fells horrible about it anyway. She works from 7 am to late at night every day, and had to keep Cocoa in the kitchen so she didn’t eat all the furniture. Then when she got home, she never had any energy left to give to Cocoa, let alone take her to the park for a run or to play with other dogs or anything. Cocoa, I’m sure, was suffering without my sister boyfriend who recently moved out. In addition, she cant afford a dog walker, groomer, etc. She cant even afford the apartment she’s living in.

Cocoa’s new family lives in New Jersey, with a huge yard, a swimming pool, two other dogs, and a 4 year old who will have plenty of energy to play with Cocoa. I’m sure that, eventually, Cocoa will be much happier there.

Even knowing all this, it is a very very sad thing for my sister to have to do, especially after having recently broken up with her boyfriend of 7 or 8 years. I don’t know how she’s keeping herself upright, having just basically given away her child, but just hearing the news has literally brought me to tears right here in my office. And Cocoa wasn’t even my dog.

Just wish I could help, I guess.

Well, if we cancel class we still have to cover Physics Gobledegook Topic X, Topic G and Topic M (because he teaches in a really fucked up order, and I dont remember the names). Which means we only have 2 hours on Thursday to cover all of that, and no time for review before your Final on Monday.

Of the four that are planning to come, how many of you would object to not having class?”
