I have reached a point in my life where I feel like I can virtually predict the happenings of every day for the next 14-16 months.
For the next 10 or so months I will be taking too many classes to facilitate working 30 hours a week, yet I will continue to work 30 hours a week. This means I will continue to have no free time, except that which I spend avoiding homework, which will eventually bite me in the ass, as it always does.
Every class I have left is a mundane required class that will bore me to tears. Every day at work will be virtually the same, programming labs that bore me, and fighting with my boss who thinks week long labs should be accomplished in a single day.
After graduation, I will be working 40 hours a week, or salaried which will mean they expect 60 hours out of me. At this point I will be doing nothing but working to try to pay down the remainder of my debt. Depending on the size of my debt by the end of school, this will take anywhere from 4 months to 2 years.
Budgeting over a year sounds about right, which puts me in line with the end of the lease on the apartment. Time to move. NYC most likely, which will cost a hell of a lot more. More importantly, holy shit there’s new people and stuff to do and possibly something NOT mundane and routine in my life! Ok, thats only 2 years and 2 months away.
…
…
Where’s the fast-forward button?

Haven’t posted in a while. Finally found a moment of free time, sitting in the JetBlue terminal at JFK, waiting for my flight. Got here half an hour before I needed to still be comfortably on time, so now I’m just bored. Got to love the free wireless hotspot JetBlue gives me though.
Quite the weekend it’s been. Pesach se fue, finalmente, to mix three languages in one setence.
My parents were … my parents, as per usual. Sat me down right after everyone left from cedar for “a talk”. Woo fucking hoo. But it was hardly as bad as it could have been.
This morning was cool. Got to see Alex, who I haven’t see in forever. Had a good breakfast at Clark’s (Victor’s), and saw The Interpreter, which was good. Got to finish a good day poorly though, so I went to visit my grandmother. My away message at the time was:
“visiting the elderly.
my grandmother, more specifically, but she wont know that.”
And that pretty much sums up the visit, during which we had to explain to her who I was, because she thought I was her imaginary friend, Bennet, and instruct her how to eat her dinner, every bite of the way.
Someone shoot me in the forehead before I get like that.
Now I’m getting ready to sit back in my non-reclining seat and watch bad television for an hour long flight, to go back to the wonderful Rochester, where it’s probably snowing. Can’t win ‘em all, I guess.
They just began boarding, so I better wrap this up. I miss you. All of you. I’ve been reaching out to a lot of friends that I’ve lost touch with lately, and I wish at least some of it were received gratefully. So far no luck. Rochester sucks, and I miss being in NYC. Anyway, that’s my row. Until later …

Such a bad mood that I can’t concentrate on anything. Can’t even make this post worth reading because the words just wont show up. This is going to be a long fucking day.

JBSil (2:39:40 PM): bush supporters make me violent
JBSil (2:39:57 PM): we should just kill them all
JBSil (2:40:05 PM): so our country can move on
That’s my opinion. If you dont like it, sit on it and twist.
Any interest in staying alive, stop believing the endless lies he’s feeding the media and start a respectful discussion with me about it.
